The Centro Lusitano is a philanthropic association, with main office in Lisbon and offices in 18 countries. Its primary mission is to receive and echo, amongst all the People of the World, this invitation and this appeal that the Wisdom Masters vehemently address to us.

Following the efforts and seeds of light spread by the great workers of spirituality such as Helena Blavatsky, Annie Besant, Rudolf Steiner, Max Heindel, Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich, Pietro Ubaldi and others, Centro Lusitano aims to provide - under the conscious impulse of the 3rd Ray's Energy and Love's Intelligent and Active Manifestation - the necessary conditions for the Manifestation of Christ Maitreya, to precipitate His singular Love-Wisdom Vibration, and for the Advent of the New Era.

Mainly through the edition of literary works of superior inspiration, which have already been translated in 23 languages, Mankind is offered a summary of teachings and formulae - from today and ever - which inspire sublime beauty and transcendency, forming a genuine appeal to Love, and to group and collective work, on behalf of the evolution and spiritual progress of Mankind.

The books' diversity of contents has the defined objective of raising and transmutating the planet, awakening and expanding consciences, renewing systems and religious, ethical and social values, forms of education, organisation, etc., and inspiring human activity and knowledge in areas as diverse as Esoteric Teaching, Philosophy, Science, Arts, Economy, Politics, Pedagogy, Ecology, and Health.

Always acting according to the keynotes of impersonality and universalism, which are characteristic of the New Era, Centro Lusitano repeatedly emphasizes the importance and necessity of everybody's work and the multiplicity of forms which the Work can take. Through the spreading of its actions and of the activities which it promotes, the centre aims to allow the creation of a great "Planetary Light Network", woven by the determined will and the love summoned up by all those who, inclined to unity and to the inspiring strength of Christic Energy, will become instruments of the Divine Law, allowing the Light to come down on "all the corners of the Earth".
